Megan Mullally Confirmed for ‘Righteous Gemstones’ Season Four, Nick Offerman TBD

TV comedy legend The Righteous Gemstones Season Four, and we can’t wait to see what kind of weirdo her husband plays in one glorious cameo.
If you had to make a list of all the incredible comedic actors who belong on a show like HBO’s exhilarating comedy-drama about a televangelist dynasty at the close of The Righteous Gemstone's critically acclaimed third season, Mullally would have to be near the top of the list with Will & Grace.
Don't Miss
Now, Mullally has the incredible opportunity to the cast one of the funniest shows on TV, and we can’t help but wonder whether Righteous Gemstones star and creator Danny McBride has decided to turn Mullally’s time on the show into a family affair. After all, whenever Mullally and Offerman are in the same room, they’re probably misbehavin’.
According to the Deadline announcement about Mullally’s casting on The Righteous Gemstones, the two-time Emmy-winner will play Lori Milsap, an old friend of the Gemstone preacher family who previously wrote songs for the late matriarch Aimee-Leigh. Sean William Scott will also be ing the Gemstones cast along with Mullally, playing Lori’s son Corey. No word yet on whether the Milsap family has a father figure, though, if they do, don’t be surprised to see Offerman playing Tory.
Given that each season of The Righteous Gemstones has seen that year’s guest stars bring back trouble from the holy family’s past, I fully expect for Mullally to have some hidden agenda like seemingly every other returned family member or family friend who comes calling on old Eli so late in his life. It’s just a shame that The Righteous Gemstones already did a radical right-wing militia storyline last season. Offerman and his famous facial hair were crafted by God himself with the purpose of playing a domestic terrorist.
