Jon Stewart on Trump’s ‘They Spit, We Hit’ Plan: ‘Protect Hawk Tuah Girl!’

When Hailey Welch told America to “Hawk-tuah and spit on that thang,” she wasn’t talking about the end of a police baton.
Right now, thousands of soldiers from the California National Guard are occupying Los Angeles as protests against the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s aggressive campaign of abduction and deportation continue to turn destructive. Elon Musk alleging that the President’s name is all over the FBI’s files on Jeffrey Epstein, and Trump is doing everything he can to turn the conflict in Los Angeles into a shameful, attention-grabbing international spectacle, much like the meteoric rise of Welch, aka The Hawk Tuah Girl.
On tonight’s episode of Jon Stewart tore into Trump’s violent rhetoric and his demands for overwhelming force from both law enforcement and the military. Specifically, Stewart attacked, Trump’s new catchphrase of “They spit, we hit,” joking, “Well done, Mr. Churchill. ‘When they spit, we hit!’ For the love of God, someone protect Hawk Tuah Girl!”
Don't Miss
Of course, considering that Welch is also a cryptocurrency grifter like the Commander-in-Chief, there’s a good chance that her of Trump’s rhetoric would be downright full-throated.
“Now, obviously, this is a bit of a change in attitude from Trump toward protecting law enforcement,” Stewart said of the National Guard’s new orders from the Oval Office, noting that “They Spit, We Hit” is very different “from his previous January 6th attitude of, ‘They hit, we don’t give a shit!'”
As for the other proponents of Trump’s new plan for law enforcement, Stewart says that Stephen Miller, White House Deputy Chief of Staff and “Young Lord Vader,” is the true authoritarian. The Daily Show nodded to reports that Miller demanded ICE carry out 3,000 arrests per day and target Home Depots and 7-Elevens instead of the violent criminals whom Trump campaigned on deporting. The show then played a clip of Miller himself screaming to Fox News host Jesse Waters that the undocumented workers captured in the ICE campaign are “not people, monsters,” crying, “Deport, deport, deport!”
Stewart joked, “Deport, deport deport… I’m gonna guess that’s what Stephen Miller shouts when he cums.”
In that case, even Trump would have to it that it’s okay to spit.
